A gang of techno criminals succeeded the last weeks to even hack the latest heavenly secured slot machine. They specially aimed there goals on emptying slot machines, that where hard to hack but contain a big amount of money in their machines. An owner of a bar in Rotterdam directly alarmed the police after they emptied two machines.

"A man awaiting trial in Pennsylvania was arrested by Federal agents on Jan. 4, and accused of exploiting a software 'glitch' within slot machines in order to win payouts. The exploit may have allowed the man to obtain more than a million dollars from casinos in Pennsylvania and Nevada, and officials say they are investigating to see if he used the method elsewhere. The accused stated that 'I'm being arrested federally for winning on a slot machine. Let everybody see the surveillance tapes. I pressed buttons on the machine on the casino. That's all I did.' Apparently, slot machine software errors are fairly common. The lesson here seems to be that casinos can deny you a slot machine win any time they wish by claiming software errors, and if you find an error that you can exploit, you may find yourself facing Federal charges for doing so."

On August 4, 2011, at approximately 6:30 pm, Sherwood Police Department Detectives along with Investigators from the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office conducted a search and seizure warrant at 4209 E. Kiehl Ave. (Indianhead Phillips 66/City Mart). The Sherwood Police Department Street Crimes Division had received several anonymous complaints about the establishment operating illegal gaming machines. During the course of the investigation, the detectives and investigators found the establishment to have two pre-paid phone card machines that were actually electronically outfitted to work as electronic gaming machines similar to slot machines found in casinos. Arkansas Statute 5-66-104 says it is unlawful for a person to set up, keep, or exhibit any gaming table or gambling device that is adapted, devised or designed for the purpose of playing any game of chance or at which any money or property may be won or lost.
